The game was cancelled when Brendan Daly, standing in the middle of the proposed field of battle, took off his scuba gear after inspecting the ground and said, "Well we could play but I'm afraid that some of the deeper puddles could drown a few of the shorter team members."

Better luck next year.

Kanangra Kamp

Oct 3,4,5.

Tonight was the last night to bring in permission forms for the Camp at Kanangra Boyd National Park.

Remember that the weather can change quite suddenly so bring clothes suitable for hot and cold weather. And then add an extra jumper.

There is a place to go for a swim, so if it looks like being warm enough pack swimmers and a towel.

Founders' Day
Indoor Cricket Comp

Oct 25th - during the weekend on which we celebrate the Founder of BB, there will be an indoor cricket comp - teams from all around the state will be competing. Cost $7 a head.

Seniors' Retreat & Beach Camp

Two traditional end of year activities for our company - both of these are very important parts of our yearly program.

Seniors' Retreat is where the Boys aged 15 and older get together to get to know each other better and to plan the year to come. This is a great time of encouragement and building friendships.

The Beach Camp is a combined GB/BB event. Held somewhere on the north coast this year it is a very relaxing way to end a year and a great chance to get to know each other better.
