Matty's Mighty Motor

Matthew Fletcher picked up his new car Monday. A white Nissan Skyline 1983 2.4L 6 Clyinder, A/C and Mags. "Top of the line in 1983 ... better than the Commodore Calais." Matty was pretty pleased with his purchase.

While we're talking about cars, in certain sections of Pennsylvania [in the USA] many years ago, the Farmer's Anti-Automobile society set up some "rules of the road." In effect, they said:

1 "Automobiles traveling on country roads at night must send up a rocket every mile, then wait ten minutes for the road to clear."
2. "If a driver sees a team of horses, he is to pull to one side of the road and cover his machine with a blanket or dust cover that has been painted to blend into the scenery."
3. "In the event that a horse refuses to pass a car on the road, the owner must take his car apart and conceal the parts in the bushes."

The kid also had some damage to his other leg and hand. Remarkably, he got himself to the beach and was more composed than most of the others around him. He is a neat Christian kid from a secular home. I'm sure he could use the the encouragement of prayers from round the world.

Pray that God would heal him quickly. Pray that as he deals with this that he may be a witness to his family and they would come to be closer to God through this
