Last week we had the younger Dearth this week we have the older Dearth - if you squint just right you can make out the face of Peter Dearth as he defys death abseiling.

We also wish both Peter Dearth and Steven Dearth HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Steven turned the big one-six while Peter turned 17.

From the bible we see that Jesus Prayed in heaps of places and times - for children [Matt 19:13]; in a garden with his mates when troubled [Matt 26:36]; by himself very early in the morning, while it was still dark [Mark 1:35]; at significant events [Luke 3:21]; Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed [Luke 5:16]; before an important decision - all night if necessary[Luke 6:12]; to his Father, telling us to talk to God the same way [Luke 11].

Jesus seems to have prayed a lot, in different ways and places, alone and with people. How often do you pray? What for? Look at Luke 11 and get an idea about how to pray - not the exact words but the ideas to pray for.
