Greetings, The final issue of The Paper was handed out last week - August 1st 2002 Issue 192. Due to the need to take time out from ministries and reassess what it is God wants me to do I am leaving BB after about 10 years at Toongabbie. The Paper ends with me - I have thought hard about it and have been happy to hand over everything else I have done at BB but The Paper was my creation and work, and although it continued thanks to it's value to the guys and their parents I want The Paper to be something that is uniquely mine.
There are people talking about a new No.2 Section newsletter and I really hope that something does continue - it will just be called something other than The Paper. At the moment there is no news as to when the new newsletter will start, and if it does then you hear about it on this page, and if you are on the list then you will emailed about it. If the new newsletter is published on line then it will be found at or near the bb38th website.
I have really enjoyed doing The Paper and I will miss it, but I know that I will miss the guys even more. Please keep in touch with my via my personal website and follow the adventures of bb38th No.2 Section.
Thanks to all of you for your support over the years and I hope that you have enjoyed reading The Paper even just a little bit as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
enjoy...

BB Restarted this week with a bunch of new guys as well as the return of the old favourites. Matty F did the honours for devotions reminding us that God is always with us and so we can be strong and courageous - big b dominated Sinkers in the Feats of Strength with Sinkers declaring that he would get b next year.
The latest issue of The Paper will go online over the weekend along with the issues from the end of last term.

Soccer News Well what a great weekend - a weekend of big scores with da bird winning by a big big big score winning 19-0 with every one on the field scoring a goal. da bird scored one goal and claims that he set up all the goals for people that had not scored yet well that is what da bird said to me.
Danny T played a great game but did not do much because the team he plays in a very strong team with them winning 9-2 against OLQP soccer team - i think he touched the ball 5 times in the whole game but they were mighty fine touches as well. And on a small note josh b missed a goal from right in front of the goal in the first minute and i had a great veiw from the side line as i was the touchy.
The old farts did not play as the teams they were going to play were kicked out of the comp.
RUGBY LEAGUE Sinkers lost 24-18 but had a strong game.

The the golf group hit off on its well awayed golf game - it was a tight afair with only 1 stroke between coming 1st and 2nd . People who played were The Sewellster, markus, B2 and true pro Sporty Steve.b2 did not enjoy the game has i think he only hit a handful of shots straight all day . On the other hand nathan sewell was tipped to come last but had a great day with a score of 51. And it was a tight battle up the top of the leaderboard with only one stroke in it at the with markus cracking under the pressure of the last hole which meant that the calm calm professional Sporty Steve was left to take victory - a good day by all.

well in soccer news the young guns won 12-1 with mitch scoring 5 goals which is his most goals scored in a game. Alex played in goals and made some really good saves and one horrible mistake that led to the other team scoring a goal but if you ask him he says, "i could not let them go home empty handed."
OLD FARTS reserves had a draw and 1st won 6-0 over Greystanes and they only had 8 players for the second half

Spoke to Ashers last night at Church and he spent most of the week at challenge camp being sick and dosed up on Demazin - so apart from becoming a Demazin Junkie did Ahsers get anything out of it - "Yes, I got a few things out of it"
Timothy Q is attending Leadership Development Course Stage 2 which includes a three day solo in the bush. It should be a great time for Timothy Q and an awesome experience. bjd is Course Director whilst Matty F debuts as a Stage 1 Squad Officer which is pretty excitiing. The Reverend Bell teams up again as the Happy Chappy.

Steve has joined The Paper online news team, so hopefully we will get a dose of sport news on a regular basis. But then again, maybe we won't.
In other news, James is sick and asleep on the couch.

I have just looked at what the website guys are doing for skills tonight and it sounds like some real updates will be coming to the company website very soon. Oh and Praetor has done a very nice job of putting together all the ideas from last week to come up with a very snazzy looking navigation/page layout for the site. Stay Tuned.
There are games tonight and as soon as we know - then you will too.

bjd reports that Old Grey is on the road and thanks The Noble One for his help.
And just in case you are missing the weekly quotes from the mouth of Blue Haired James then I have a feeling a new page will be on the website which will help meet that craving for more words of wisdom. But remember, the Blue Haired James is just a man like us and The Paper takes no responsibility for decisions made based upon the wisdom of the Blue Haired James.
